Nike is set to make a lot of noise again this weekend as they are scheduled to release the newest colorway of the latest signature shoe of Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant.

The Kobe 10, which has been making a lot of noise over the past several weeks since it made its debut on the sneaker market, will be released in Black/Persian Violet/Volt/Black colorway, which is official listed as the "Blackout" edition.

The Kobe 10 "Blackout" features a purple-based upper part combined with black laces and tongue. It also sports a black Nike Swoosh logo and heel panel with four red lines, which symbolizes Bryant's suture when he underwent surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon.

Like the previous signature shoes of Bryant, all editions were inspired by a story related to the Lakers superstar. According to Nike, this edition was inspired by Bryant's immeasurable work ethic. In a statement posted on the official product page, Bryant said he usually works out until he blacks out.

Bryant's work ethic will be in full display once again in the coming months as he tries to regain his form coming off a layoff after undergoing surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder.

"Bryant's relentless mental and physical perseverance are key to his career success, but it's not all glory and championships," Nike noted. "The real work happens behind the scenes as Bryant works on his strength, conditioning, skills and mental fortitude."

Aside from the simple yet eye-catching design, this shoe boasts the latest technology from Nike -- the hybrid cushioning, advanced traction system and seamless textile upper.

The Kobe 10 features Lunarlon cushioning along with Nike Free-inspired sipping and Zoom Air unit in the heel to provide a responsive sneaker for comfort and flexibility.

The outsole of this latest addition to the Kobe signature shoe line also has hundreds of nodules combined with midsole cushioning for better grip on the hard court even at high speeds.

The seamless textile upper, on the other hand, provides superb breathability. It also features an open-weave textile and mesh bootie inside the shoe to improve ventilation and give super comfort and snug fit.

The Kobe 10 "Blackout" will arrive at retailers on Saturday, 10 a.m. EST on Nike.com and select Nike Stores worldwide. It will be available for $180 in men's sizes and $135 in gradeschool sizes. Official photos and more information about this upcoming colorway are available on this link.
