Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine are rumored to be feuding behind the scenes of "The Voice," the hit Fox network show.

According to RadarOnline.com, Levine is "feeling shafted" by the "Happy" crooner and fellow judge on the show.

"Not only is Pharrell taking the contestants that Adam would have generally locked in with ease, but he is also a favorite among the production staff," an industry insider tells the website.

The source added of Williams: "He takes this role very seriously and is new and fresh.

"Adam is just jaded after doing it for so many seasons.

"Production staff are saying that, not only does Adam act like an a**hole, but he is totally jealous of Pharrell and this season has brought out his true colors."

Williams joined the judges table last season, while Levine, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton have been in their roles for several seasons.

But, while conceding that Williams has indeed emerged as a favorite on the show this season, a source tells HollywoodLife.com that rumors of him and Levine butting heads are largely unfounded.

"This is beyond not true," the source added. "Everyone on the set when it comes to the mentors gets along just fine.

"A couple of years ago there were issues between Adam and Christina and everyone knew about that but that has been settled. And when it comes to Pharrell and Adam they are fine. Is Adam the nicest person in the world, absolutely not but he is not feuding with Pharrell."

Over the last several years, 41-year-old Williams has been on quite the roll, including winning three Grammys at last month's award show. Overall, he has now earned 11 such awards.

Williams also recently inked a deal with Putnam to write four children's books, including a picture book inspired by his "Happy" hit.
