Colombian singer Maluma has denied rumors that he is romantically involved with Belinda, E! Online Latino reported. But that did not keep the reggaeton star from graciously complementing the Mexican artist.

"I say it openly, we're not a couple," Maluma said. "But she is one of the most beautiful women I have seen in my life," the 21-year-old told Variety Latino in an interview held in Los Angeles.

The singer, whose full name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias, recently had to show a lot of patience and battle just as much paperwork to shoot a video clip for his song "Carnaval" in the United States, Cromos noted.

"I wanted to take it to a different level, so I chose to do (the clip) with Carlos Pérez, who has directed videos for Marc Anthony, Wisin and Yandel, Chayanne and Ricky Martin," Maluma explained.

And even though there is a time gap between the music and the visuals, 6 million YouTube views prove that the singer made the right choice, Cromos judged.

The Medellín-born vocalist, also known as "Pretty Boy" among his fans, is busy with travel, concerts, advertising campaigns and promotional events, the Colombian magazine detailed.

"At 21, I do everything, and I don't get tired," the youngster admitted.

And when Cromos asked the him about the best feature of his youth, Maluma offered a decidedly mature answer.

"To fulfill my dreams and to make my body keep up with all this excitement," the singer said. "And to keep making music," he added.

While everything seems to be going according to plan for the young Colombian star, Belinda may actually need a shoulder to cry on. The Mexican singer allegedly owes more than $3 million, or about 50 million pesos, after losing two lawsuits, according to Telemundo.

The 25-year-old singer has a history of trouble with her country's tax authorities: Last July, reports accused her to have failed to pay up, though the singer dismissed the rumors, La Opinión noted.

"I haven't had a single problem," she said then. "Everything is fine. Millions of things are published, but I have no problem. I'm very happy, working as always, thankfully traveling and very happy."
