The 2015 New York City Saint Patrick's Day Parade is right around the corner and will air Live on NBC Channel 4 at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17.

The parade can be watched live online as well.

This year's festivities include "THE FIGHTING 69th" march by The 69th Regiment of New York 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry.

The Fire Department of New York will also march in the parade including members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Emerald Society and much more.

NYC Saint Patrick's Day Parade will march along Fifth Avenue and pass by New York City attractions like the St. Patrick's Cathedral and Central Park, Time Out New York reports.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. on 44th Street as it makes its way up Fifth Avenue on the date marked by the death of Ireland's most celebrated patron saint. It will end around 5 p.m. at the American Irish Historical Society at East 80th Street.

There will be many other things to do on Saint Patrick's Day in the City besides the parade. People can enjoy some of NYC's best Irish pubs in all five boroughs or head to one of the many events being held.

According to the parade's website, this year's Grand Marshal is Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York City who received his pallium by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI on June 29, 2009.

Archbishop Dolan is a member of the Pontifical Council for Promoting New Evangelization and the Pontifical Council for Social Communications.

Back in 2011, he was elected president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and completed his term in 2013.

New York City's St. Patrick's Day Parade is America's oldest Irish tradition, marching since 14 years before the Declaration of Independence.

The NYC Saint Patrick's Day Parade is now registered as an official nonprofit organization where it has marched up Fifth Avenue for the past 253 years.
