Bobby Singer will return to the CW's hit "Supernatural" series after having disappeared for a number of episodes.

Actor Jim Beaver will reprise his role as Sam and Dean's dead father figure after being killed off a few seasons ago. According to Variety, Beaver's Bobby Singer will return on the episode airing on April 1 and will be titled "Inside Man."

The episode will revolve around Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) who need a little help from someone in heaven, so they turn to Bobby Singer (Beaver). The episode will also show Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Rowena (Ruth Connell) face off.

Bobby Singer was killed Season 7 in the episode "Death's Door." However, the character has made several appearances in a number of episodes. Singer last appeared on screen in the Season 9 episode "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here."

Beaver is known for his work in "Adaptation," "Next" with Nicholas Cage" and "Deadwood." Beaver has also starred in the TV series "Major Crimes," "NCIS," "Nikki & Nora: The N&N Files." He is currently starring in the play "Verdigris" at Theatre West in Los Angeles and will be seen in "Billy Boy" with Blake Jenner. The actor will also be seen in Guillermo del Toro's "Crimson Peak," alongside Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam, Mia Wasikowska and Jessica Chastain.

"Supernatural" first premiered in 2005 on the CW and has been a hit series for 10 years. The new series has scored rave reviews and currently has 100 percent aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes. TV Equals said, "After watching the premiere a second time, I'd say it blew all of my expectations out of the water." The series tells the story of two brothers who follow their father's footsteps as "hunters" fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons and gods that roam the earth.

"Supernatural" airs on the CW every Wednesday at 9 p.m.
