Amanda Bynes pulls off a no-show at Thursday morning's court hearing for her bizarre bong-tossing case.

The troubled actress was previously charged with reckless endangerment, attempted evidence tampering and marijuana possession after allegedly throwing a bong from her 36th floor window at the Biltmore on West 47th Street back in May, which Bynes denied the incident by saying that "it was just a vase."

Undoubtedly irritated Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Diana Boyar demanded a reason for Amanda Bynes' failure to show up to the court. "Where is the defendant?" Boyar asked the actress' attorney, Gerald Shargel, of her absence. "Is she still in the hospital?"

Shargel responded that the "Hairspray" actress was released from a rehab center into the custody of her parents but could not be in court and did not explain further. The prosecutors were aware of Bynes' planned absence and did not ask for a bench warrant.

"Judge, we are not asking for a bench warrant," said Assistant District Attorney Laura Richenderfer.

However, Judge Boyar said that Bynes is due in court next time, "or else a warrant will be ordered," although it does not appear as if she will have to show up if the deal is struck beforehand.

The actress can enter into the conditional dismissal deal that is expected by submitting a notarized affidavit.

"We're just trying to achieve a fair and just disposition," said Shargel.

Amanda Bynes was released from The Canyon, a rehab center in Malibu, this week. She went there for psychological help after her public breakdown, and she is now recovering at her parents' house in Los Angeles.
