Get your Republic credits up: Han Solo's trusted blaster has gone on sale as of Dec. 21, and you're gonna need to pay your debt to Jabba the Hutt if you want to own a piece of Star Wars movie history.

Famously played by none other than Harrison Ford, the blaster came to the pop culture forefront with Han Solo's now-famous line in the first film, later dubbed A New Hope, "Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side." The New York Daily News that the DL-44 blaster -- really a weather-beaten, wooden prop from the original trilogy films -- is being put on the auction block at Invaluable.com. The memorabilia collector who is auctioning off the prop beginning December 21st will start the bidding at a staggering $200,000.

"The blaster is exactly in its original filming condition and therefore exhibits wear from use, but retains all of the original details, including the flash suppressor and scope. It would have been used in the majority of scenes that feature Han, with the heavier, live-fire weapon being used for close-up shots," reads the description. "Particularly noteworthy scenes requiring this lighter version are when Darth Vader uses the force to lasso the blaster out of Han's hand in Empire, and in Jedi when Han wrestles with a stormtrooper to regain possession of his blaster during the Rebels' encounter with Imperial forces on Endor."

Meanwhile, in other Han Solo-related Star Wars news, the Millennium Falcon is reportedly fully built and better than ever, according to ComingSoon.net. "A full-scale 1:1 Millennium Falcon has been built as well as the interiors of the ship for filming," they explained. "The Falcon is done - inside and out. The sets were built off-site, ready to move when Lucasfilm/Bad Robot were ready to move into Pinewood," reports the site.

While more casting rumors abound -- everyone from Emmanuelle Chirqui to Taissa Farmiga have all been linked to roles in the film, set for release in 2014 -- Jedi News UK has reported that a "planet long discussed, but never featured" will be in Episode VII. This is leading to speculation that the planet will be Corellia, Han Solo and Wedge Antilles's home planet.
