It's an affair fit for Family Ties: TV mom Meredith Baxter has tied the knot with her long-time partner, Nancy Locke.

People Magazine has confirmed that the actress, who has been dating Nancy Locke for more than a decade, got married on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles in front of an "intimate crowd" of friends and family, including Baxter's five children from her previous marriages.

At the reception, Locke's band also performed. By day and by trade, Locke is a bulding contractor.

Baxter, 66, has been married three times before: Baxter was wedded to Robert Lewis Bush from 1966 to 1971, to David Birney from 1974 to 1990 and finally to Michael Blodgett from 1995 to 2000. The mother of five had three children with Birney -- Mollie, Kate and Peter -- and two with Bush, Eva and Ted.

According to The New York Daily News, Baxter came out as a lesbian in 2009. "I felt like I was being honest at the time," she told People Magazine. The couple also took dancing lessons to be "perfect" in time for their big day. "Now I know why marriage caught on!" said Baxter.

Though she's best known for her work on Family Ties, Baxter has also done work for the 1970's dramedy Family and voice-over work for the animated series Dan Vs. She also temporarily co-hosted The Today Show with Matt Lauer in 2006. Recently, she's been known for her guest appearance on the season 4 finale of Glee, as mentor of Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss).

Congratulations are in order for the happy couple! Check out the video coverage of the wedding courtesy of People below.
