Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has made people laugh though stand-up, and in his recent movies "The Wedding Ringer" and "Get Hard."

He has poked fun at himself, his family, friends and celebrities, but on Tuesday he focused his special brand of humor on basketball.

When Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry broke Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul's ankles with a dirty double behind-the-back move during Tuesday night's basketball game, the incident enticed a loud "Oh!" from the crowd and a social media explosion of memes, reports FOX Sports.

Hart got in on the action, sending eight of his favorite memes directly to Paul. Paul posted his favorite to Instagram and wrote, "Hey Kevin Hart, out of the 8 you sent me, this was the funniest one! Now relax lol #GotMe #GottaLaughAtYourself."

The Warriors won the game 110-106, by the way.

Paul is not the only celebrity targeted by Hart's sense of humor. Hart recently participated in Justin Bieber's Comedy Central roast because he wanted to do the Biebs' parents and the legal system a favor, he said.

He was giving the "Amazing" singer the "a**-whooping that he deserves," he said in a promotional video for the roast.

MTV announced Monday that Hart will be honored with the Comedic Genius Award at the MTV Movie Awards next month, offering this reason for bestowing the award:

"If Kevin Hart hasn't ever made you laugh, we just don't even know what to say to you. Do you exist? Do you feel? Can you laugh, if Kevin Hart hasn't been able to make you laugh?

"We think not.

"That's why Hart will receive the Comedic Genius Award at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards."

Hart made a video in which he boasts about being the "funniest man alive" to a third-grade nemesis who doesn't agree.

The special award will be presented to Hart by Jimmy Kimmel. Hart's "Get Hard" co-star, Will Ferrell, received the same award in 2013.

You can watch Hart in action at the MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Amy Schumer, on April 12 at 8 p.m. ET.
