Artists in the past, including Beyoncé from Destiny's Child and Justin Timberlake from 'N Sync, have gone solo when their groups became huge and successful, and now, it seems that Harry Styles is pulling a quite similar move.

Last Month, the British boy band released their third studio album Midnight Memories, featuring their hit singles, "Best Song Ever" and "Story of My Life." Their latest project has sold over 82,000 copies; the group sold over 19 million singles and 10 million albums in total during their entire career. In addition to their evident musical success, One Direction has also launched their popular fragrance, "Our Moment," as well their makeup line, "Little Things Collection."

While it is looking better than great for the hitmakers, Harry Styles is said to be interested in making a solo album and branching out on a solo career, which means that he has to leave One Direction. Styles also reportedly told the members that he will be returning after he records his own album.

"Harry really wants to record his own stuff and put out an album now that this [Midnight Memories] is done," a source said. "Trust me, he's going to do it."

The rumors of Styles going solo first surfaced earlier this year, when everyone thought his new material got out. One Direction's representative confirmed: "Please note this is not a Harry Styles solo song. It was a demo they worked on over a year ago. Sometimes the boys write and record separately as they work on new material."

Harry Styles has been spending time apart from the rest of the One Direction members. He is rumored to be dating reality star Kendall Jenner and has recently been spotted with her on dates.
