The 2015 MTV Movie Awards are on Sunday, April 12. As the countdown begins for the big show, here is what viewers can expect.

The MTV Movie Awards' pre-show, hosted by Kelly Osbourne, will air an exclusive clip from the film "Paper Towns," which will be presented by Cara Delevingne along with the rest of the "Paper Towns" cast, MTV reports.

The actual show, hosted by comedian Amy Schumer, will incorporate a live stream that will allow social media users to watch the show on Twitter.

According to Adweek, the 2015 MTV Movie Awards will use Twitter's Periscope and Orad Hi-Tec Systems' Augmented Reality to add 3D graphic overlays to the live video feed.

This partnership will grant live steam viewers an all-access view of the award ceremony as 20 cameras film from different areas in the Nokia Theatre venue in Los Angeles, says Adweek.

One particular camera called the Unleash Cam will begin filming the front row of the venue once a certain number of Twitter users hashtag #FrontRowUnleashed.

"New app-based live streaming technologies are just another way for us to tap into the excitement and real-time nature of our events, and to develop different approaches for the different features and communities specific to each of these apps," said Colin Helms, SVP of MTV's connected content.

As viewers watch the show via television or live stream, they will get to see "Divergent" series actress, Shailene Woodley accept the MTV Trailblazer Award for displaying great talent and work ethic in her many films including, "White Bird in a Blizzard," "Divergent" and "The Fault in Our Stars," MTV reports.

Woodley will be the fourth recipient of this award. The award will be presented to her by her "Insurgent" co-star, Miles Teller.

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards will also feature live performances by Charli XCX who will perform her single "Famous," and Ty Dolla $ign and Tinashe who will perform their new song, "Drop That Kitty," says MTV.

Some of the predicted winners for this year's movie awards are Shailene Woodley for Best Female Performance in "The Fault in Our Stars," "American Sniper" for Movie of the Year, Ansel Elgort for "The Fault in Our Stars," and Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone for Best Kiss in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
