Fox's hit comedy series, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," has proven to take us to quite laughable and eccentric new places. Although the show has not aired since March, fans are poised to find some great new episodes coming out on April 26, leading up to the season finale on May 17.

On Episode 21, which will air on May 3, Jake, who is portrayed by Andy Samberg, will work with Detective Majors.

"Jake is excited to work a case with the best detective in the NYPD, Detective Majors (guest star Garret Dillahunt), until Majors shares his intentions to ask Amy out on a date," Spoilers Guide reports. "Meanwhile, Charles and Gina try to convince Terry to stay at the Nine-Nine when he considers accepting an offer to work at a private security firm."

Things are sort of looking up for Jake.

In Episode 20, as reported by Spoilers Guide, Jake will be forced to take time off from an injury, where he loses his sense of direction. He does not know what to do when he is not working.

The dynamics of the show's cast, including that of Santiago and Diaz, who is played by Stephanie Beatriz, are what give this show forward momentum with it's extremely comedic angles. The show's two leading ladies actually seem to be on a mission to distinguish themselves as those most worthy of their jobs, with serious demeanor and impeccable work ethics.

In an interview with Beatriz on the Huffington Post, she actually plays down the role of her character, as opposed to her real life demeanor.

"I'm not really a super-serious person," Beatriz said. "I guess in some ways I am, but I do like to have a lot of fun. I mean, one of my favorite places in the world is Disney World, so that'll tell you a little bit about me."

Be sure to tune into Fox on April 26 to catch Diaz and the rest of the "Nine-Nine" crew as they prepare to finish out the season with four all new episodes.
