When will Season 7 premiere on FX?

Sons of Anarchy fans, prepare for a long wait. The final season is on track to be released in the fall of 2014. That wait may sound excruciating, but all good things take time.

Will Season 7 truly be the last we see of the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club?

While Season 7 is definitely the series finale for everyone's favorite Northern California racketeers apparently a prequel is in the works. Details are scant, but apparently series creator Kurt Sutter doesn't want to take his foot of the gas.

As seen on movie blog Screen Crush, and originally reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Sutter had some very interesting ideas centering on the creation of SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original) by the First 9.

"I brought the concept of the first nine to them very early on, a couple season[s] in. They were intrigued by the idea. Now that FX has expanded and they're looking at doing standalone seasons and miniseries, I think it's a probably a lot more viable than it was a few years ago. I love the idea of doing the origin story, even if it's a standalone 12-episode thing. I love the idea of doing a period piece. It definitely would have different energy, it would be a different kind of show, but I think the real fans would plug into it.

We would probably want to rest the mythology for a season or two, meaning that I don't think we would end Sons and begin the prequel. I think we would let it breathe for a couple years."

That sounds pretty exciting. Will a prequel satisfy your appetite for more anarchy?

And finally will "Jax" Teller avenge his wife's death?

Things get tricky here because Tara was brutally bludgeoned, drowned and stabbed to death by none other than Jax's mother, Gemma. If anyone else killed Jax's wife then the answer would be pretty simple: Jax would kill them. However is he really going to kill his mother? That sounds totally grotesque, but only time will tell.

So how do you want Sons of Anarchy to end? Let us know in the comments.
