There's just something about superheroes.

No matter how old we get, and no matter how many times Hollywood remakes their movies, we will always watch them. We look up to them. Sometimes they lose, but we always support our favorite heroes.

And the same goes for athletes.

The NFC East is loaded with popular quarterbacks who can be compared to all-time great superheroes.

Let's see which NFC East quarterbacks are which superheroes:

Eli Manning: Hulk

Even as the former No. 1 overall draft pick from 2004, Eli Manning is inconsistent. He's led the entire NFL in interceptions three times, and he provides fans with some bizarre plays. Like the Incredible Hulk, you just don't know what you're going to get. But, when you make Manning angry, he turns big and green come playoff time. Manning has won two Super Bowls, two Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Awards, and he has won eight playoff games. Manning will always get criticized because of his high turnover rate and sometimes goofy sideline faces, but it's best not to make him angry. You wouldn't like Manning when he's angry.

Tony Romo: Batman

Tony Romo routinely puts up the best passing statistics in the NFC East. He's easily the most consistent quarterback in the division, and he has success year in and year. However, he relies more on his big name sidekicks and teammates a lot. He, like Batman, needs his gadgets to perform at a high level. When Romo goes back to the huddle, or in this case the Batcave, he has had All-Stars like Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray, Jason Witten, Terrell Owens and an elite offensive line. As good as Romo is, Jerry Jones (Alfred) will always have command of AT&T Stadium in the end.

Sam Bradford: Wolverine

With Sam Bradford, we can only wonder "what if." He's been injured each of the last two seasons with a torn ACL. Just like Wolverine, Bradford just can't stay healthy. It's really unfortunate because when on the field Bradford has produced 59 passing touchdowns and 39 interceptions. When Wolverine uses his iconic claws, it's extremely painful. Fortunately for Wolverine, he can heal, just as Bradford does every offseason. The question then remains, can he stay healthy?

RG3: Captain America

Playing for the Washington Redskins brings a lot of pressure, as well as drama. The Redskins do after all play near the United States capital, Washington, D.C. There's no doubt Captain America has saved the day multiple times in the past, but he really is full of himself. He loves the spotlight, as well as working solo. Similar to Captain America, every time a problem arises, Robert Griffin III will use his shield and deflect blame elsewhere. Despite having the option to fly and travel by plane, Captain America loves to use the ground game and run. Sounds familiar. Griffin has a good arm, but he prefers to run very often, which has often been his downfall.
