Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison will replace Terry Crews as the new host of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"

Harrison's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" gig will commence in the fall as the show enters its 14th season, Us Weekly reports

Harrison recently released a statement about the news expressing his excitement over his new hosting job.

"There are few shows on television as strong and iconic as Millionaire," he said. "This is a great fit and I'm extremely excited and honored to take on this new endeavor."

Harrison also tweeted about the news.

And though Harrison will become host of the popular quiz show, he will still be hosting the various shows under the "Bachelor Nation Umbrella," says Us Weekly.

Meanwhile, Crews will be leaving "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" due to his conflicting acting schedule, E! News reports.

Lisa Hackner, executive vice president, Daytime & Syndicated Programming, ABC Entertainment Group, told E! News that she and ABC thank Crews for his hard work.

"We thank Terry enormously and are very grateful for the time and energy he put into the show this season," Hackner said.

When asked why ABC chose Harrison as their new host for "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" Hacker explained that Harrison has developed a strong presence and relationship on ABC and with ABC viewers over the years.

Harrison has been a host on "The Bachlelor" for 19 seasons and has established a high level of familiarity on ABC. Because of his longevity on the network, ABC producers felt that Harrison would be an equally valuable player on its other show, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"

Harrison's upcoming Bachelor Nation show will be the special "Bachelorette" edition featuring two Bachelorettes, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, says E! News.

Harrison explained back in March that because producers and viewers were divided on who should be chosen, they decided to go with both women since they each are fan favorites.

However, "The Bachelor" producers later released a press release stating that the show would eventually eliminate one of the women during filming and leave the other woman to find love among her male contestants.
