Miley Cyrus sits down with Barbara Walters to finally reveal how she really feels after her failed engagement to Liam Hemsworth. Barbara interviews Miley for the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013 special which airs Wednesday at 9:30p.m. on ABC.

Barbara Walters who is capable of making Oprah Winfrey cry can get anything out of anyone. The twerk queen, who single-handedly revolutionized the year of 2013, admits to finally being happy now that Liam is out of her life. Really? So why do you cry everytime you sing "Wrecking Ball?" Guess is one of those "I love you but I don't want to be with you" things.

Miley tells Barbara, "It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years ... but now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I'm just at my house, by myself." Miley added that she "overcame A LOT this year," also talking about how dependent on Liam she was. "I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year," said the pop star. "I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself".

The "We Can't Stop" singer also looks back at being an engaged teenager. "I don't think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19," she lamented. Now 21 years old, Miley Cyrus realizes that she wasn't ready for the serious relationship she had with Liam Hemsworth. After Miley's "big break-out" the couple just didn't seem to mesh anymore.

Even though Miley is enjoying her freedom and being single, we are sure she still has feelings for the Hunger Games star, I mean who wouldn't... have you seen him? We will have to wait and see what else Miley confessed to Barbara, who just seems to have that motherly magic to get EVERYTHING out of the most private celebrities.
