The Tony Award nominations have been announced with "The Visit" starring Chita Rivera up for Best Musical.

The musical is up against "An American in Paris," "Fun Home" and "Something Rotten!" "The Visit" is nominated for five Tony's including Best Actress in a musical for Chita Rivera as well as Best Lighting, Best Original Score and Best Book of musical.

Rivera is nominated for Best Actress in a Musical alongside Kelli O'Hara for "The King and I," Beth Malone for "Fun Home," Leanne Cope for "An American in Paris" and Kristin Chenoweth for "On the Twentieth Century."

"An American in Paris" and "Fun Home" are up for 12 nominations, while "Something Rotten!" is up for 10 nominations.

In the Best Play category, "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" is up for a nominations against "Disgraced," which only has one nomination, "Hand to God," which is up for five categories, and "Wolf Hall: Part One and Two," which leads with eight.  

Among the Best Revival nominees are "The King and I," "On the Town" and "On the Twentieth Century."

In the Best Actor in a Play Role, Bradley Cooper is nominated for "The Elephant Man" alongside Steven Boyer for "Hand to God," Ben Miles for "Wolf Hall: Part One and Two," Bill Nighy for "Skylight" and Alex Sharp for "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time."

In the Best Actress category for a play, Helen Mirren is nominated for her work in "The Audience" in which she reprises her role as Queen Elizabeth II. She is nominated alongside Geneva Carr for "Hand of God," Elisabeth Moss for "The Heidi Chronicles," Carey Mulligan for "Skylight" and Ruth Wilson for "Constellation."

In the Best Actor in a Musical category, Brian d'Arcy is nominated for "Something Rotten!" alongside Ken Watanabe for "The King and I," Tony Yazbeck for "On the Town," and Robert Fairchild for "An American in Paris." Michael Cerveris round out the nominees for his work on "Fun Home."

The Tony Awards will be televised on June 7 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
