The Man of Steel sequel, commonly referred to as Batman vs Superman, will feature another Justice League hero on its amazing cast: Wonder Woman. Some were surprised when Fast & Furious star Gal Gadot was given the role of the one of the most notable female superheroes in comic book history, including Gadot herself.

"I remember laying in the darkness by myself, staring at the ceiling, and I was telling myself 'It's not real!' ... it shouldn't be like that, I'm supposed to be like... 'Where's the champagne?', Gadot told "Good Evening with Gai Pines" in Hebrew, which Flicks and Bits translated.

Fans were surprised that Gadot was chosen as the Amazonian hero formally known as Princess Diana of Themyscira. Although MTV reports that Gadot is 5'9,'' which is reportedly four inches shorter than Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman) and seven inches shorter than Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), some fear that the Israeli actress is too slim for the role.

"I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world," Gadot coolly responded. "Breasts ... anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels, and everything is fine. By the way, Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically, accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I'd really go 'by the book' ... it'd be problematic."

That's not to say that Gadot does not plan on bulking up for the role.

"It's the physical preparations that I'm starting now," Gadot explained. "A very serious training regimen: Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords, jujutsu, Brazilian ... 1,000-and-one things ... I'll gain body mass."

The Man of Steel sequel also features Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and rumor has it that Warner Bros. wants Joaquin Phoenix to play Lex Luthor. Zack Snyder will return as director, and the movie will premiere Jul. 15, 2015.
