The 2015 Billboard Music Awards hosted by Chrissy Teigen and Ludacris was a success, except for a certain performance towards the end of the show.

ABC received a lot of complaints when the event’s televised version censored out most of Kanye West’s performance.

Yeezus stepped out onstage to close out the show and perform “All Day” with Theophilus London and Allan Kingdom. They were all clad in clearly expensive black leather and were supported with a background array of pyrotechnics – making their performance even more memorable and enjoyable.

However, those who had to watch the Awards night on TV were treated to around 30 seconds of silence.

When West started to sing “Black Skinhead,” ABC also started with the non-stop censorship – some of which were not even in sync to the words that they were supposed to be censoring, as pointed out by USA Today. For instance, the words “my leather black jeans” and “middle America” were censored, but “300 [expletive]” and “a**” were not.

Moreover, they may have gone a bit overboard with the fireworks since the stage was far too bright to actually see what was going on.

The “Pretty Girls” performance from Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea was also one of the night’s highlights. It was the very first time for the two artists to perform their hit song, and the crowd cheered on. Apart from their amazing musical chops, they also supported their segment with a very colorful set-up, PEOPLE described.

Spears and Azalea also debuted their much awaited “Pretty Girls” music video. As seen in the video, the “Trouble” rapper was featured as an alien being whose spacecraft crash-lands right into Spears’ swimming pool.

Kelly Clarkson may be a new mother, but nothing stopped her from performing “Invincible” at the Awards show. According to E! Online, her husband Brandon Blackstock and their daughter River Rose accompanied her backstage before she performed.

The very first “American Idol” winner belted out the song’s verses with such ease and passion, with inspiring lyrics, such as, “What was I running for / I was hiding from the world / I was so afraid / I felt so unsure / Now, I am invincible.” This ballad is part of her seventh studio album, “Piece by Piece.”
