Can you remember way back in 1994 when we saw the likes of Brandon Lee squaring off with Michael Wincott in the original film adaptation of "The Crow?" We are obviously not talking about all those sequels, most of which were direct to video releases. We are talking about the one that had the character Eric Draven in it.

If you do remember, then you know that Michael Wincott played the role of "Top Dollar," according to Deadline. He was the Baddest of the Bad, the craftiest and the smartest villain in the film who never actually killed anyone or started any fires, but rather ordered the fires to be started, sort of mirroring the Charles Manson saga.

But his character did make one mistake in that film: He ordered a fire and two murders on Eric Draven and his wife Shelly, which led to Draven's return with "The Crow," and he pulled no punches when seeking his revenge.

The comic book also had the roles cast in much a similar way. But now that Relativity Studios is rebooting the movie, there has been a few changes -- namely in gender.

The role of "Top Dollar" has been written in as a woman, and now, Andrea Riseborough ("Birdman") is in negotiations to play the part.

But the role of Eric Draven has remained a male part, which Deadline reports that Jack Huston will be playing.

Fans of "Boardwalk Empire" may remember Huston by his performance as the war veteran who returned home to put his rifle skills to use as an assassin. He only had a half a face due to an injury in the war, but his character was a bit of an antihero in the later seasons of the show.

Inquisitr reports that the role of "Top Dollar" had also changed from the comics to the 1994 film. In the comics, he was a low-level drug dealer. It was not until the 1994 film adaptation that he became the high-end sadistic mob boss.
