Ed Sheeran Says He Never Hooked Up With Taylor Swift

During a recent interview on New York radio station Power 105.1 FM's "The Breakfast Club," Ed Sheeran discussed why he would never hookup with Taylor Swift, the Huffington Post reports.

Though Sheeran and Swift are close friends, he insists that she is "too tall" for him.

"I feel like we look like cast members of 'The Hobbit.' She's like, in the elven kingdom," Sheeran said. "She's hanging out with Galadriel and stuff, and I've got hairy feet."

Sheeran then went on to say he enjoys his platonic relationship with Swift and feels that "it's healthy to have female friends that you don't smash."

The Daily Mail suggests that Swift and Sheeran are so platonic that the "Thinking Out Loud" singer even accompanied Swift while she was out on a date with her current boyfriend, who is EDM DJ Calvin Harris.

According to The Daily Mail, Shereen was spotted alongside Swift and Harris last week as the couple went on a lunch date to New York City English pub The Spotted Pig located in the West Village.

Swift and Harris were first linked as a couple in February after making several red carpet appearances together since meeting at the BRIT awards.

Since then Sheeran has said nothing but positive things about his gal pal's boyfriend.

The Daily Mail reports that Sheeran told New Zealand's ZM Online that Harris is "a really nice guy."

"He's a really nice guy. Really, really nice guy," Sheeran said. "There are certain people that are just nice people in the industry."

Sheeran also revealed that he met Harris about "a year ago."

Swift has yet to publicly respond to Sheeran's Power 105.1 FM interview, but she did recently post an Instagram photo of a nighttime text conversation she had with Sheeran.
