With rumors floating around that Jared Padalecki may not be returning to his famous role as Sam Winchester on the hit CW show "Supernatural," following his sudden cancellation of public appearances at conventions foreign and domestic, fans have been wondering what they can expect to see in Season 11.

But Padalecki's manager has released a statement to E! News that puts those rumors to rest.

"Jared wanted everyone to know he loves meeting his fans around the world and was very upset at having to cancel his trips to Rome and Australia," the statement read.

"Jared has pushed himself to his limits and is suffering from exhaustion. His SPN family is so important to him, and he asks that they Always Keep Fighting. At this time he needs to be home with his family. He's doing better already and is excited about shooting 'Supernatural' season 11 this July. For now he's taking a break, but is so appreciative of his fans, and sees and feels their love and support," the statement continued.

This follows a sudden departure last month from JIBCON 2015 where he wrote a few cryptic messages (cryptic at the time) on Twitter.

"Dear ‪#JIBCON and ‪#AHBL6. I am in desperate and urgent need of my family. I am so sorry to tell you this but I must head home," the actor wrote in one of his tweets.

Fans didn't know what had happened and were concerned.

In an interview with Variety in March, Padalecki had revealed that he had dealt with depression for quite some time.

"These characters that we play on 'Supernatural,' Sam and Dean, are always dealing with something greater than themselves, and I've sort of learned from the two of them that they get through it with each other, and with help and with support," he said.

He explained that he had his own problems, where he was not always happy with what was going on with his life. Padalecki knows that it may sound strange to people, as he is a celebrity with a hit show, but that he's even had these struggles while shooting the show.

"Maybe a lot of people don't know this, but Season 3, we were shooting an episode, and I went back to my trailer to get changed and just kind of broke down," Padalecki told Variety when speaking about his charity, Always Keep Fighting.

But now that it's been confirmed the young actor will be returning to film Season 11 in July, fans can rest assured that he will be there to fight off the darkness that was let loose at the end of Season 10.

There have also been rumors, according to Inquisitr, that Sam may have to let archangels Lucifer and Michael out of the cage he stuck them a few seasons ago as a way to contain the darkness in Season 11.

If those rumors prove to be true, then viewers are definitely in for an explosive Season 11, which could possibly be the last season with no contracts for Season 12 yet for the two stars Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
