HTC has received a great deal of praise since the time they released their flagship smartphone called the HTC One. But now the question is whether its second generation which is the HTC One 2 or the HTC M8 will come out better than the first.

According to Know Your Mobile, the HTC One 2 rumors may still not be final but if it will be compared to the HTC One even in the speculations stage, then most fans may most probably get a hint on what to expect with the upcoming flagship phone.

The HTC One 2 is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip which is an upgrade to HTC One's Snapdragon 600 processor. The first one has 2GB RAM but the HTC M8 or the second generation is most likely to have 3GB RAM.

When it comes to build and design, not much is expected to change from its original aluminum unibody make. But for its display spec, the technology implemented may also get a big improvement. The camera aspect may still remain the same too with its 4MP ultrapixel setup but rumor reports lead to the potential of the HTC One 2 to have improved lens configuration.

The second generation HTC flagship phone will have the same storage and connectivity features but speculated to have additional boost of 5GHz and 2.4GHz for its Wi-Fi bands. The HTC One 2 is also thought of to have Android 4.4 KitKat installed.

IBTimes AU also wrote that the rumored features are still not confirmed yet from either Google or HTC. But the reliable tip source @evleaks revealed that the HTC One 2 or the HTC M8 will come out with a 5 inch HD screen display, a 2.1 MP front camera, and the Sense 6.0. HTC fans are surely expecting a lot from the HTC One 2 since the original flagship phone got numerous recognitions last year and was even hailed as one of the most ideal smartphones of 2013.
