Ariana Grande indicated via Twitter that she is "back in the studio this week," after releasing her debut album, Yours Truly, just five short months ago. The starlet notified the public through the popular social media site this past Saturday, and fans responded with eager support, already anticipating the release of the unnamed album.

One responded to the album tease with the statement, "@ArianaGrande yaya make a new chart slayer and release it soon," and another wrote "@ArianaGrande glad you're back in the studio tho. gonna be making dope music."

Grande and English record producer Harmony D. Samuels will be working together again for the sophomore album. Samuel was the producer behind Grande's breakout hit "The Way," which featured Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller, and sold 120,000 units in the first 48 hours.

Samuels expressed a great deal of excitement about the forthcoming project through a highly fan-favored tweet, writing, "@ArianaGrande my sis came to the studio and killed it on our first day. Has to be one of the most amazing singers I have ever worked with."

Yours Truly, her freshman album, was inspired by artists such as Mariah Carey, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry and Madonna. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart with 138,000 copies sold. Since the release of that album, she's released a Christmas EP, Christmas Kisses, and performed singles from that album at several events, including Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Grande's upcoming album has not given a release date.
