“Teen Wolf” Season 5 will be hitting the small screen on MTV on June 29, and it will be featuring new characters when it airs.

Tyler Posey spoke with PEOPLE during the recent ATX Television Festival, and he had a lot to say about the new addition to the cast, Cody Christian.

“He is a phenomenal actor,” Posey said, referring to Christian. “He is really passionate about his work. He really loves being on set and is always asking questions about shots and setups – what size lens they are using. He fits in so well on set.”

As stated in the report, the character of the “Pretty Little Liars” actor is going to be a “lone wolf” – both metaphorically and literally. And, since Christian has just been recently added to the hit MTV show’s cast, it is expected that it may take a bit of time before his character can completely fit in with the rest of the “Teen Wolf” world.

Posey might have also revealed that Christian’s new character may be one of the very significant ones in the storyline of the show’s fifth season. “He is such an incredible actor and has a great storyline,” Posey added. “I think he influenced the storyline a little bit.”

Plus, Christian’s character was so important that he was actually featured “in every episode.” “Some of us are not in every episode!” Posey exclaimed. “He is just so good. I could talk about Cody Christian for hours!”

Christian’s added involvement in this highly watched series has made it even more interesting to the eyes of the masses. However, CarterMatt has pointed out that MTV has remained very secretive about the actual plot of “Teen Wolf” Season 5.

Moreover, in addition to Christian, some familiar faces will also reportedly return to the franchise. Holland Roden, who plays Lydia Martin, hinted on the return, but was clever enough not to give away any key details about it.

“As far as actors coming back, there are always so many different forms in which they can come back,” she revealed. “But that is all I will say.”

Russell Mulcahy, executive producer of the show, pointed out that characters can always come back to the show as long as they were not killed off in any of the previous episodes. The cast was very quick to rebut this claim and immediately mentioned Kate, played by Jill Wagner, and Peter, played by Ian Bohen. That said, Mulcahy only corrected himself and said that they can only return if they still have their head connected to their body.
