“Beverly Hills 90210” fans will be delighted to know that the characters from the 90s hit show will grace television once again.

Lifetime has decided to come up with a tell-all, made for TV movie titled, "The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story" and it will feature the drama that transpired in the first four seasons of the show, according to TV Line.

The Lifetime movie will also chart the times when the hit teen show was nearly cancelled – several times, as it would turn out. Eventually, though, through team play and hard work, the show became a “massive success” that was able to leave an “imprint in the cultural zeitgeist,” the network's statement said.

"Beverly Hills 90210" premiered on Fox in October 1990 and it catapulted the careers of Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Luke Perry, Jason Priestley, and Shannen Doherty.

The Fox teen drama also featured Gabrielle Carteris, Douglas Emerson, James Eckhouse, Carol Potter, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, Vanessa Marcil, Hillary Swank, Tiffani Amber Thiessen, and Lindsay Price.

Siblings Brandon and Brenda Walsh, played by Priestley and Doherty, respectively, were shocked to be exposed to a different way of teenage living when they moved from Minnesota to Beverly Hills, 90210. This was not the only arc that was featured in the show, though, since it also dappled into the workings of the area’s richer families.

The “Unauthorized” version of “Beverly Hills, 90210” will have Peter Green of “Mean Girls 2” and Howard Braunstein of “Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B” as the executive producers, in addition to Christian Bruyere as the producer. It will be written by Jeff Roda of “Love Liza” and will be directed by Vanessa Parise of “PopFan.”

This was actually not the first time that Lifetime did something like this. Just last year, the network released “The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story.” Meanwhile, “The Unauthorized Full House Story” will be hitting the small screens on August 22. The version of “Beverly Hills, 90210” still does not have a release date, but considering Lifetime's revival telepic schedule, the movie might be shown in 2016.
