Zoe Saldana may not be opposed to sharing bits and pieces of her life with fans through social media, but the actress is set on keeping her baby twins' faces out of it.

The new mom spoke to E! News at the Los Angeles Film Festival while promoting her latest movie "Infinitely Polar Bear." She explained why she doesn't want to fully show off her boys, Cy and Bowie.

"I just don't want 16 years from now to get, 'You are so disrespectful. You invaded, you exposed me and I wasn't ready,'" the actress said. "Even though they're babies they're under our care, it's still their face."

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star explained how keeping her kids identity secure is important since they can't speak for themselves or make decisions on their own she doesn't want to make it for them.

The New Jersey-born actress, whose parents are Dominican and Puerto Rican, admits to getting help from nannies to adjust to new life as a parent and dishes on how she and her husband are trying to sleep train the 6-month-old twins.

"We just have extra hands because we are new time parents and the twins are giving us a run for our money," she said.

She and husband Marco Perego both recently made headlines for revealing that Perego took her last name when they got married, according to People. The actress said she tried to persuade Perego from going through with it because of the backlash he would receive for going against the norm.

Saldana was a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," and she defended her husband's choice when Kimmel asked her if she made him do it.

"Why does it mean a woman has to hold a gun and be like you're going to be Saldana," she said. "I took his. Why doesn't that make it in the news?"
