Brooke Shields' West Coast home is now on the rental market.

The 50-year-old actress, who got the world's attention when she starred in "The Blue Lagoon," is leasing out her Pacific Palisades home for $30,000 a month, according to Trulia. The agent who handles the listing is Dan Urbach.

Future tenants of the expansive Los Angeles home will find comfort in the privacy it offers, aside from the gracious and stunning mountain and canyon views.

The 5,345-square-foot private home has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a home theater, a lounge, a bar and lovely balconies. Renters will find delight relaxing in the spacious master suite. Just how huge? It covers the entire third level of the California residence. The suite also comes with a fireplace.

Cooking in the grand and luxurious home will not be a problem as the modern kitchen showcases high-end Viking appliances for the occupants to use. The working station are lined with white marble for easy cleaning.

Outdoors, the grounds display a nice backyard, a barbecue station, and a swimming pool equipped with spa feature.

Photos of the home featured on the real estate site were provided by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties through the Multiple Listing Service.

From the images, one can see that the Pacific Palisades home offers interesting details such as wooden flooring, use of artistic wooden or textured furniture and white motif contrasted with bright or dark-toned accents.

The pictures also show several ways the soon-to-be occupants of the home can be entertained while staying in it. There is a grand piano in the living room and aside from swimming outdoors, there are swings that young members of the family will enjoy, too. For artistic individuals, they can find inspiration in the scenic views to paint, draw or even write some poems or songs.

Variety noted that the "Pretty Baby" actress bought the gated abode resting on 0.43 acres of high-end Southern California land for only $3.25 million in 1997. The blog described the home as a mix between "a Rocky Mountain ski lodge" and a " Swiss chalet." The three-story residence was originally built in 1982 featuring brick-tiled wraparound balcony.

Shields, who is married to TV writer Chris Henchy, spends more of her time now in New York where the couple has a townhouse, which they purchased in 2008 for $5.5 million. They also have a six-bedroom residence near Southampton worth $4.25 million acquired two years ago, added the Variety.
