It was announced Thursday that the Miss USA pageant will be aired in Spanish through the Spanish-language television network UniMás.

The competition, set be air on July 12, will be hosted in Lousiana in Spanish by Puerto Rican actress Roselyn Sánchez and Chilean actor Cristian de la Fuente, both currently starring on "Devious Maids," reports Variety Latino.

This comes at a time when the Latino community isn't guaranteed to be represented. Unlike the Miss Universe Pageant, where Latin countries also participate, the Miss USA competition doesn't guarantee that the contestants representing a state will be of Latino decent.

However, contestants representing the Latino community this year, according to the Miss USA website, include Natasha Martinez for Texas, Vanessa Oriolo for New Jersey, Ylianna War for Texas, Thatiana Diaz for New York, Anea Garcia for Rhode Island and Andrea Mucino representing West Virginia.

The contestants will be judged by a panel that includes the 2006 Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera, retired NFL player Emmit Smith, Jonathan Scott from HGTV"s "Property Brothers," E! News anchor Terrence Jenkins and Country singer Jessie James Decker.

The current reigning Miss USA, Nia Sanchez, whose grandfather is of Mexican decent, will be on hand to crown the new winner at the end of the show.

The agreement is part of deal between the Miss Universe Organization, run by Donald Trump, and Univision, reported the Latin Times. The network is set to broadcast Miss Universe in Spanish.

"The Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants consistently rank as the most watched, most-coveted properties and entertainment programs around the world," Trump said. "Adding Univision as one of our leading media partners in addition to NBC could not be more exciting."
