Adrien Broner will look to move one step closer to becoming a world champion again when he goes up against Shawn Porter on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Broner, who is the former World Boxing Association welterweight champion, is coming off a lopsided unanimous decision win against John Molina Jr. in their non-title fight in March.

The 25-year-old is reportedly eyeing a world title shot in his next fight, but he needs to hurdle the challenge of Porter, who is also a former welterweight world champion.

Porter is expected to become the toughest foe of Broner since his loss to Marcos Maidana in December 2013, but the Cincinnati, Ohio native is confident that he will emerge victorious on Saturday night.

"No disrespect to Shawn and Kenny, but I'm coming to win and I'm going to win," Porter said via Daily News. "Even if it's a hard fight, I'm going to win this fight. They say he's strong, they say he comes like a bulldozer. Whatever they bring to the table on June 20, I'm ready."

On the other hand, Porter is also convinced he will be the toughest opponent of Broner to date. He knows his opponent is more experienced than him, but he is confident his boxing skills will prove his doubters wrong.

"I'm still the same 'Showtime' Shawn Porter, I still have everything that I need to be great and come out victorious," said Porter, who holds a 25-1-1 record with 16 knockouts. "Not being relevant after this fight is not an option."

Porter, who is the former International Boxing Federation welterweight champion, is coming off a fifth-round knockout win against Erick Bone in March in California. Before winning against Bone, the 27-year-old took a majority decision loss to Kell Brook in their title fight in August last year.

Where To Watch, Live Stream & Predictions

Broner is favored to win against Porter on Saturday night, but Porter is expected to go all out as well in order to get another title shot after losing his world title. With a title shot on the line, Broner is expected to fight with a lot of sense of urgency, knowing that a loss will have a great impact in his career. Broner by unanimous decision.

The Broner-Porter match, which is a part of the Premier Boxing Champions series, will be the main event of the fight card that will start at 8:30 p.m. ET. Fans can catch the action on NBC and online live stream via NBC Sports Online.
