A first look at Motorola’s new Moto G 2015 may have been leaked online. To date, there has been no actual news regarding the successor of last year’s Moto G device, only that it is expected to launch in the near future, as stated on GSM Arena.

However, a series of photos presented through a video, has made its way to the Internet via YouTube, much to the delight of those who have long been waiting to find out more about Motorola’s upcoming flagship smartphone. As expected, the original video has since been removed, but other sources who were quick to act managed to grab copies.

Sadly for the Moto G 2015’s maker, the leaked video showed the CPU-Z app and disclosed full technical specifications of their upcoming flagship smartphone.

As seen in the leaked images, the Moto G 2015 will be featuring a design that is clearly a revamped version of its predecessor. Sticking to the line’s special feature, this particular unit will allow it users to replace its back cover. Colorful cover choices have already been listed on Ali Express for potential Moto G 2015 users to choose from.

With regards to the device’s specs, Android Pure reported that based on the information obtained from the video, the device will already boot on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will sport a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) with a Cortex A53 processor, an Adreno 306 GPU, 16 GB RAM, 8 GB storage memory and a slot for a microSD card.

Since the upcoming device will have a Snapdragon 410 chipset, it is expected to support 4G LTE. To prove this capability, the 4G icon can easily be seen in the status bar of the Moto G 2015 smartphone used in the leak. The capacitive navigation buttons, which are easily seen below the bar, clearly have backlight support.

Externally, the Moto G 2015 will reportedly have a 5-inch HD screen with 1,280 x 720 pixel with a 320 DPI, a 13-megapixel back camera, which is readily available with a dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front photo snapper.

The video also showcased the unit’s Lithium ion battery and it appears that the device will also sport a Proximity Sensor, a Magnetic Sensor, an Ambient Light Sensor, and its very own Accelerometer.

Android Pure added that the device is actually code named Osprey, which is only understandable, considering that the company named the Moto G 2014 Falcon.
