Tonight's "WWE Monday Night Raw" comes a week after Brock Lesnar made his annual summertime return to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The current champion, Seth Rollins, received his surprise when The Authority revealed Lesnar is his next opponent at "WWE Battleground." As seen last Friday on "SmackDown," Rollins will likely cut a similar promo, defending himself as a credible champion and unafraid of Lesnar. An appearance by Lesnar is likely, and Paul Heyman can still deliver an ace promo defending his client.

With Lesnar back in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship scene, that leaves Dean Ambrose without a feud. As seen last week, he told Kane that the "big red monster" was the man who won championships and not the one wearing a suit. This could continue to build up against another Kane vs. Ambrose match -- it's the chance to see the red mask once again.

Roman Reigns continues his feud with Bray Wyatt. "The New Face of Fear" caused Reigns to lose his tag team match on "SmackDown," and the same will likely occur on Monday night. Wyatt has not been in a televised match in a while, and it could continue that way to showcase the "mystique" of him.

Money in the Bank winner Sheamus is nowhere near to cashing in his briefcase, especially as Randy Orton seeks revenge for his loss. Expect Orton and Sheamus to continue building their feud ahead of "Battleground."

The New Day is still at a loss after losing their WWE Tag Team Championship to The Prime Time Players. It's safe to assume another match, any combination of a singles or tag, will take place Monday. Last week saw Neville compete against a member of The New Day, and he could settle for going for another New Day member.

WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella continues another month feuding against Paige. On "SmackDown," Brie Bella defeated Paige with help by Alicia Fox, who seems to be siding with The Bella Twins. On Monday night, it would not be surprising if another diva decides to help the Bellas against Paige.

Intercontinental Champion Ryback, Big Show and The Miz are still feuding for title and that will continue to intensify tonight.

Finally, NXT Champion Kevin Owens is still dominating the main roster after defeating Dolph Ziggler and powerbombing rapper Machine Gun Kelly off the stage and a victory against Cesaro on "SmackDown." Owens is likely to compete again, and another match against Cesaro would not be a complaint. The likelihood of United States Champion John Cena appearing is very likely.

"Monday Night Raw" airs weekly at 8 p.m. on the USA Network.
