"WWE NXT" taped four weeks of shows on Thursday night, and it was the first set of "NXT" tapings since Dusty Rhodes' death.

The show opened with all "NXT" superstars and divas appearing on stage with Triple H for a 10-bell salute. Afterwards, the first show began taping.

June 24:

Hideo Itami opened the first taping while wearing a suit and a sling. During his in-ring interview with Greg Hamilton, Itami said he will be out of action for three to four months. He hyped the upcoming July 4 WWE show in Japan that will feature NXT Champion Kevin Owens defending the title against Finn Balor, which will air live on the WWE Network. Itami said he will challenge the winner of the Balor vs. Owens match. Owens said he did not injure Itami, but said since he has been blamed for it, he might as well make it worse. Balor entered to attack Owens, which then brought out Rhyno to knockout Balor.

The first match of the night was Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy defeating Jason Jordan and Sylvester Lefort.

The NXT divas were next. Dana Brooke defeated KC Cassidy.

The third match of the night was Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder, known as the Hype Bros., beating Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton.

The main event for the first taping was Balor vs. Rhyno. While Balor got the win, Owens appeared to attack him, but Samoa Joe appeared to make the save.

July 1:

The second taping opened with tag-team competition. The Vaudevillians, Aiden English and Simon Gotch, defeated The Mechanics, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson.

Baron Corbin was next to squash his competitor. He defeated an unnamed local wrestler.

NXT alum Emma defeated Carmella.

The main event was another tag-team match. Samoa Joe and Balor defeated Owens and Rhyno. Balor pinned Owens following the Coup de Grace.

July 8:

It will be the first show following the July 4 WWE Network special from Japan. Will Owens or Balor appear as NXT Champion?

The show opened with NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks and Charlotte defeating Dana Brooke and Emma. Charlotte, however, only agreed to team with Banks with the NXT Women's Champion would defend her title against her next week. Banks agreed.

For the second match, Solomon Crowe used the Stretch Muffler to defeat Marcus Louis.

The next match was to determine the No. 1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship. The Vaudevillians defeated Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy.

Tag team competition continued as Jason Jordan and Chad Gable defeated Elias Sampson and Steve Cutler.

Finally, the final match for the third taping was Samoa Joe defeating Axel Tischer.

July 15:

The final taping of the night, and Eva Marie opened the show to announce she will make her NXT in-ring debut at the next set of tapings and hyped the main event of Banks vs. Charlotte.

The first match was NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy defeating Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins in a non-title match.

Sami Zayn appeared and spoke about his shoulder injury. He said 2014 has been the best year of his career, while 2015 has been his worst. Zayn said he probably will not return in the ring until the end of the year, but he will return for the NXT Championship.

The main event was next for the NXT Women's Championship. Banks defeated Charlotte to retain the title in a very competitive match.

It should be noted, two tapings occurred without the NXT Champion.
