During a recent interview with The Drum, Kim Kardashian admitted that she thought her career was over following the backlash she received for her brief 72-day marriage with NBA star Kris Humphries.

Us Weekly reports that Kardashian faced immense backlash for her highly publicized and televised marriage to Humphries and received even more criticism when she chose to end the marriage shortly after.

Kardashian aired her wedding on E! and 4.4 million viewers watched Kardashian tie the knot following an equally short 90-day engagement.

Following the split, Kardashian told her family to save their money because she thought they would no longer have careers.

"At the time when I was going through the divorce I did say to everyone, 'You guys I think our careers are over. I hope you've saved your money. And now we'll just continue to do our clothing stores and continue to do what we started off doing before the show,'" Kardashian told the Drum. "I totally thought it was over.

Kardashian admitted that she was "very paranoid" about her future and made the decision to take some time off away from the public and media following her split from Humphries.

"I canceled everything. I had a book tour, I had a fragrance launch, I had everything that you could possibly imagine and I just cancelled it all and I took time for me," she revealed.

Now that Kardashian's career is up and running again and she is now married to Kanye West, Kardashian is much happier and looking forward to having her second child, a baby boy.

"I've gained like 15 pounds already!" she shared about her pregnancy. "It's gone everywhere. It's in my boobs right now," she added. "My boobs are huge!"

When asked whether she and West have plans to try for a third baby, Kardashian revealed that she would love to try for another and is hopeful for the future.

"Never say Never!" Kardashian quipped.
