While a number of casting announcements have been made about the upcoming series "American Horror Story: Hotel," the show has yet to begin shooting.

Actor Denis O'Hare clarified the rumors when he posted on Twitter that he was back in Los Angeles to do research. The tweet stated, "Back in LA. Starting my character research. Some, um, body-work. Sometimes work means other things ... not actually shooting yet. My bad."

The actor had previously mislead fans of the show when he posted a tweet about returning from Italy and returning to the U.S. to "start work." The comment mislead many fans to assume that "start work" meant production beginning on Season 5.

His most recent tweet does leave room for speculation, especially with the words "body-work." Over the past seasons O'Hare has transformed into many characters including a disfigured victim, a creepy and silent butler with a doll fetish, and most recently a well-endowed con artist. Perhaps O'Hare will have to do gym work for the upcoming character or could potentially be a serial killer. It is unknown but based on the recent seasons, which have surprised, anything is possible.

After filming in New Orleans for some time, the series will return to Los Angeles for Season 5 thanks to the newly formed tax incentives in California.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" will shoot on the Fox lot where the FX series is building a six-story hotel. The TV drama is expected to begin shooting in August as creator Ryan Murphy stated at Paleyfest.

"Hotel" is set to star Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Lady Gaga, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett.
