Fantasy Football is a time for NFL fans to annually show off how much they know about position players and value while having some fun at the same time.

While the elite players such as Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning will always be selected instantly in various leagues everywhere, there are always a few gems out there. There is nothing better than selecting a "sleeper" before the season begins and proving everyone wrong.

Here are five sleeper picks who you should consider for your 2015 Fantasy Football team.

1. C.J. Anderson

As long as Manning is breathing and under contract, the Denver Broncos are a pass first team. He had 39 passing touchdowns last season, and his accuracy is one of the greatest of all-time. However, C.J. Anderson was a monster in the second half of last season. Despite starting just seven games, Anderson still ran for 849 yards and eight touchdowns earning a spot in the Pro Bowl. Opposing defenses will spend so much time preparing for Manning, that they can't stack the box to contain Anderson. Anderson wasn't drafted in the NFL, but you have the chance to draft him on your fantasy team.

2. Cole Beasley

The Dallas Cowboys have arguably the best wide receiver in Dez Bryant, and a great tight end in Jason Witten. Even Terrance Williams, a very underrated player, has done a good job of stretching the field for Tony Romo. But, don't forget about little Cole Beasley. Beasley serves as a nice little slot receiver who also gets Fantasy Football points on special teams. Beasley has increased his games played, receiving yards and touchdown receptions all three years of his career.

3. Chris Matthews

This could be the biggest one of all. It's a huge risk, but with high risk can come high rewards. Chris Matthews has never started a single regular season game. He's never caught a single touchdown or pass in the regular season either. Matthews was amazing in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots catching four balls for 109 yards and a touchdown. The Seattle Seahawks rely on their running game thanks to Marshawn Lynch, but Russell Wilson is fully capable of getting Matthews, who stands 6-foot-5, the football on deep routes. The addition of Jimmy Graham to the roster will help open things up as well.

4. Andre Johnson

It feels kind of weird seeing Andre Johnson on a sleeper list. He turns 34 years old on July 11 (happy birthday), but he can still make quality plays and put up great stats for you. Even last season, with no reliable quarterback, Johnson still had 936 yards. Now Johnson is with the Indianapolis Colts, and he'll be catching passes from Andrew Luck. Luck led the NFL in touchdown passes last year with 40, and you can bet Johnson will be getting a piece of the action this season in the terrible AFC South division.

5. New York Jets Defense

It's somewhat of a risk because Rex Ryan won't be coaching the team anymore, but this New York Jets defense is still ready to go. They had an enormous boost to their secondary with the additions of Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie. Everyone will be clamoring to get the Seahawks defense, but you may be able to get a steal here. Since 2009, the Jets defense has ranked first, third, fifth, eighth, 11th, and last season sixth. The Jets may not breed quality quarterbacks, but they know defense.
