The “Grand Theft Auto” gaming franchise, also popularly referred to as “GTA,” has just released a content update that could help gamers who are looking for a money boost within the game.

Rockstar has created a “GTA” update that permits PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players to join the “Ill-Gotten Gains GTA” $1M Snapmatic Contest.

“We know there are also quite a few Snapmatic shutter bugs out there who have put in work stacking their chips from doing heists,” Rockstar said through a statement.

The winner of the contest – who will win $1 million in-game “GTA” money – will be picked from five photographers who have tried their best to capture the most stunning or most clever moment in the “Ill-Gotten Gains GTA” update. The device to be used must be an iFruit camera and the resulting photo must be tagged as “illgottengains2” on Social Club.

The candidates will all be hard at work to come up with something “truly flashy” that will end up catching the attention of the contest judges assigned by Rockstar. According to the studio’s statement, it does not really matter so much if the contestant is “mugging hard or crushing it in LS downtown traffic with the Coil Brawler.” It all depends on how amazingly beautiful and well-timed the photo was taken, and whoever took it will “reap the benefits.”

The “Ill-Gotten Gains GTA” update serves as an incentive for players who want to boost their in-game financial savings, but do not have enough time to start yet another job that was listed on the Online Heists.

Since going online, though, the update has brought with it several technical issues. Apparently, Rockstar has noticed that some of the gamers have had their garages rearranged and their cars go missing after they opted to update. Of course, the cars did not actually disappear into thin air within the game, they were just physically not where they were originally parked.

“If you think a vehicle is missing, try calling your mechanic and scrolling through your various garages to see if the vehicle was moved to another location erroneously,” the studio stated on Rockstar Games Support.

Gamers who are unable to find their missing cars, however, can submit a request on Rockstar Games Support – Requests so that their support team will know which particular players to assist.

Meanwhile, some players may have experienced a whole new problem entirely. Based on what a troubled user posted on Reddit, only the tires were left behind and it was unknown whether or not the rest of the car was only invisible or completely not there.
