After a huge release, NBA 2K14 has been plagued by mumbles and grumbles from some of the most loyal gamers. Can it regain its edge from the October release?

Regardless of what the answer will be when it is all said and done, the game's creators are working to make improvements to the game before it is too late. Ronnie2K released the specific changes that were made with the most recent update that took place last week, which marked the fourth update to the game since it was released.

Among the many changes include both online and offline adjustments. Firstly, they fixed a problem where people were not able to load or play files that were already saved. Secondly, they improved the contract negotiations in MyGM. The third change that was listed by Ronnie2K said that some users playing MyGM were unable to advance to the next round of the postseason after the series deciding game.

There were multiple updates that addressed problems with the game exiting out. The first change addressed cases where the game would exit following the first change of possession on the Rising stars challenge in MyCareer. The other fix helped with cases where the game would exit shortly after boot.

Among other changes included The Park mode and it fixed "hitches" occurring during gameplay, according to Ronnie2K.
