"Hunger Games" actress Amandla Stenberg criticized Kylie Jenner for styling her hair in cornrows, a stereotypical hairstyle for black people.

Jenner posted an Instagram picture with her hair in straight-back braids with the caption, "I woke up like disss."

Stenberg commented on her post stating, "@novemberskyys when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter."

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality TV star shot back, "Mad if I don't. Mad if I do... Go hang w Jaden or something."

Do we sense tension between the young stars?

Jenner may have made the comment about Jaden Smith because the "Hunger Games" actress is good friends with him. They went to her prom together.

Meanwhile, pop singer Justin Bieber defended Jenner on Instagram. Vogue took a screen shot of the comment and posted it to its Twitter page.

"Guys leave her alone, we're all trying to figure it out and she happens to be under a microscope!" Bieber wrote. "I'm the first to know this. But saying she's being racist because she wants her hair in braids is ridiculous. Let's focus on the bigger picture and instead of fighting over something stupid let's do something about equality, but it doesn't start here blasting a 17 year old kid for wearing braids smh."

Bravo's Andy Cohen named Stenberg the "Jackhole of the Day" for her comments about Jenner, according to The Root. Several people took to Twitter after that to defend Stenberg.

Some people who commented on Jenner's Instagram post agreed with Stenberg. "I get what Amandla means but no one is paying attention for some stupid reason," @karaatothemoon commented.

Is Jenner wrong for wearing cornrows while not helping out with black people's rights? Or is Stenberg wrong for accusing Jenner of such a thing? Whose side are you on?
