The Imagen Foundation has announced their nominees for the 30th Annual Imagen Awards. Some of Hollywood's most popular and most talented are being honored for their portrayal of Latino culture in film and on television.

Established in 1985, the Imagen Foundation recognizes "the positive portrayals of Latinos in the media." The event will be celebrating some of film and television's best dramas and comedies, which have seen a rise in Latino actors and have also gained mass critical acclaim.

Leading with the most nominations in Television is "Jane the Virgin," with six nominations. The CW show's nominations include Best Primetime Television Program: Comedy, "Best Actress" for Gina Rodriguez, who won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for the role, "Best Supporting Actor" nominations for Justin Baldoni and Jaime Camil, and Best Supporting Actress for Ivonne Coll and Andrea Navedo.

"Devious Maids," which airs on Lifetime, has four nominations. Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Judy Reyes and Roselyn Sanchez are all up for Best Actress.

Up for Best Actor: Television is Jimmy Smits for his highly praised role of pimp Nero Padilla in the critically acclaimed FX drama "Sons of Anarchy." Other nominees include Mark Consuelos for his role in "Alpha House," Jon Seda from "Chicago P.D.," Gael Garcia Bernal from "Mozart in the Jungle," and Diogo Morgado for "The Messengers."

Other popular television nominees include "Austin and Ally's" Raini Rodiguez and Melissa Fumero from "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" for Best Supporting Actress, Rico Rodriguez from "Modern Family" and Xolo Mariduena from "Parenthood" for Best Young Actor.

Nominees in the film categories include Hollywood stars like George Lopez for Best Actor and Rosario Dawson, Zoe Saldana and Edy Ganem, who are all nominated for Best Actress.

The Best Picture category includes "The Book of Life," "Lake Los Angeles," "McFarland, USA," "Spare Parts," and "Ana Maria in Novela Land," which leads with the most nominations in film categories. The film is also up for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.

The ceremony is set to be produced by Emmy Award-winning director Kenny Ortega. His work includes directing films like "Hocus Focus" and the "High School Musical" films. The winners will be revealed on Aug. 21 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center in Los Angeles, California.
