Gamers everywhere are eagerly waiting for the release of Hideo Kojima's "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." So to ease their anticipation, gamers can distract themselves by playing the prologue game, "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes," which is set for release in March.

However, the gameplay of "Ground Zeroes" might not be long enough to satisfy their MGS cravings. Kotaku recently ran a story about Game Informer's review on the prologue game, which is only available in their magazine, not online. According to the report, the game's main mission story is only two hours long. Game Informer wrote, "Judged just by the core story mission, Ground Zeroes is short. We completed it in just less than two hours."

That's pretty short considering "Ground Zeroes" is supposed to show Snake's backstory and the events after "Peace Walker" and those leading up to the highly-anticipated "Phantom Pain." And with the price ranging from $20 to $40 (depending on which game console you own), those two hours better feel like a day's worth of gaming.

But it does seem rather unfair to expect Kojima to spend a full-blown budget on a prologue game. After all, it basically just serves as a teaser for the main MGS chapter.

Also, as reported by Cinemablend, the game's creator did mention that "Ground Zeroes" will contain interesting optional content. Apart from leaderboards, the world of the game will also feature Side-Ops and challenge missions.

And to add variety to the game, different console owners can enjoy unique "Ground Zeroes" gameplay experiences. PlayStation owners will get the chance to play the "Déjà vu" missions which are based on the 1998 "Metal Gear Solid" game. On the other hand, Xbox 360 and Xbox One gamers can play as Raiden for a mission, the main character from the "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty."
