Even though Thor wields a magical hammer, Tony Stark walks around in a robotic suit, Bruce Banner smashes an entire city when he gets cranky, and Steve Rogers is a genetically-modified super soldier, it doesn't mean the members of the Avengers ignore the benefits of working out in a gym.

MTV News reports that the "Age of Ultron" production crew has set its sights on a gym facility in New York for the superhero team's fitness routine. But since they're the world's mightiest heroes, they won't be using your run-of-the-mill gym equipment. They'll be using the Canali system of New York City's Superstar Gym.

Although the owner of the gym, Joe DiAngelo, has not yet formally announced his tie-in with the production, he posted on the facility's Instagram account, "Our Canali system fitness equipment will be used in the biggest American superhero movie. Filming starts in mid-April in London".

The gym's website provided a more specific clue with the post, "Our fitness equipment Canali system will be featured in a new American superhero movie (with the highest-grossing opening weekend of all time). The movie will be filmed in April. We are excited to see the most advanced equipment being used by American superheroes."

This is most probably referring to "Marvel's The Avengers" since it grossed over $200 million during its opening week.

At first glance, you'll be scared to try out the Canali system fitness equipment since they look like they came straight from the set of a sci-fi movie. But according to the site, this is an Italian-designed fitness equipment used by top Olympic athletes.

According to DiAngelo, the production team decided to use his equipment in the film after a "bigshot" actor related to the project worked out in his gym and told producers about it. So who is this "bigshot" actor? Just ask yourself, "Which Avenger character has a larger-than-life persona in the movies?"

Here's another clue: According to a January 22 post from the website, Paul Bettany, aka J.A.R.V.I.S., recently worked out at the gym and left a very positive note for the staff. This was followed by the line, "Robert Downey Jr. is coming next week to our gym. We keep you posted."
