Samsung will be unveiling a new addition to their Galaxy Note series on Aug. 13, at a press event in New York.

However, not much is left to be known about the Note 5. Earlier leaks have spoiled much of the anticipation away. To top it all off, another batch of live photos of the handset has been revealed yesterday.

The leaks included five photos collaged into two. Here are images one and two.

The first image shows a front view of the handset with its menu, side buttons, and spring-equipped S Pen. A design change can also be observed with regards to the Note 5's front camera. It is nearer the center of the device unlike earlier Galaxy Note devices that had the selfie-shooter on its upper right-hand corner.

What is displayed on screen is the new Air Command menu that comes with Action memo, Smart select, Screen write, S Note, and Settings. Air Command can also feature added shortcuts. In this particular set-up, Instagram is included, Droid-Life reported.

The second image illustrates the Note 5's top and bottom regions. The photo confirms previous rumors that the Note 5 won't be styled like the Note 4. Instead, it borrows heavily from the Galaxy S6's design although it is much larger than the S6. It will be firmer on the grip since it has a noticeable curved design.

The base of the handset is where its headphone jack, USB/charger port, speaker, and S Pen slot are housed.

It was revealed recently that the handset will have a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery while the Air Command menu will be supported by the TouchWiz interface software, GSM Arena reported.

What we already know of the Note 5 is that it will run on Google's latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It will also be Samsung's pioneering device that will feature a microchip that is on the same league as those used in CPUs and GPU, the Exynos 7420. It won't have an SD-card slot but will come in 32 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB internal storage coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

It is assumed that the Note 5 will be capable of wireless charging.

"It is expected that 2015 will be a landmark year for the growth of wireless charging deployment, as wireless charging stations will begin to appear in more and more public places. Samsung will accelerate to democratize this wireless charging technology with compelling smartphones. With our upcoming Galaxy smartphones, users will be able to enter a new wireless world like never before," Samsung announced on its official blog site.
