Get ready to see a whole lot of Anastasia Steel's roommate and best-friend on TV. Aside from appearing in the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey movie, Eloise Mumford has just signed on in a new ABC drama pilot.

Mumford will be starting the network's new show Warriors. According to Entertainment Weekly, the medical drama was inspired by the Walter Reed Military Medical Center and is about the "the best and brightest active duty military doctors and nurses as they practice trailblazing medicine."

Executive Producer Chris Keyser says, "Eloise is really special. She is perfect for this role and our first choice. I couldn't be happier or feel luckier that we have the chance to make Warriors together."

Deadline writes Eloise plays the role of Stacey, a surgical resident who is sometimes overwhelmed by the sadness and emotional toll of her job. The resident also has a crush on her boss and admires how her boss handles the pressure. They practice medicine on critically wounded warriors who have returned to the US from Afghanistan, on their military families as well as veterans and administering to Washington's government elite.

On Fifty Shades, Mumford plays a wealthy aspiring journalist who is the polar opposite of Anastasia Steele. She is instrumental in the initial meeting of Christian and Anastasia that sets the story's plot in motion. She plays an intelligent, strong-willed, outgoing, fashionable and not to mention so beautiful she causes men to become tongue-tied.

The film adaptation of the wildly popular book is slated to hit theaters February 13, 2015,

Stephen Baigelman will write the project from Party of Five's Keyser notes Seatle PI. Keyser and Mumford have worked together previously on Lone Star which aired on Fox. Other past projects of the actress include the CBS drama pilot, "Reckless," ABC's "The River," Fox's "Lone Star" and Starz's "Crash."
