"Bates Motel" returns to A&E for a fourth season in 2016 with Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) being crazier than ever while Season 3 cliffhangers are addressed.

Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) and Norman will continue to develop their very complicated mother and son relationship while he battles with his mental disorder that she has ignored for so many years.

In the last season, Norma checked out a mental disorder facility for Norman to get the help he so desperately needs. But is it too late?

The next season will pick up exactly where it left off and will not feature a time jump between seasons, TVLine reports.

"We left with a lot of cliffhangers -- Bradley (Nicola Peltz) had just been killed, Norman thinks his mother did it, the actual Norma has no idea where her son is, Emma's (Olivia Cooke) going in for a lung transplant. So there are a lot of threads we [wanted] to pick up immediately," series executive producer Kerry Ehrin said.

Fans got to see exactly how Norman envisions his mother killing the people he actually kills in order to protect him. But when he attempted to run off with Bradley in the Season 3 finale, he pushed his mother down the stairs.

Will Norman hurt his mother in the next season? If so, will his twisted mind picture her committing suicide?

We all know that Norma wants to help her son get better, but they have no extra money for treatments, Entertainment Weekly reports. Will she find a way to raise the money?

When Emma needed a lung transplant, Norman's older brother Dylan (Max Thieriot) risked his life to raise the money to bump her name up on the transplant list. Will he risk his life again for Norman to get help?

And who can forget the passionate kiss between Emma and Dylan in the last episode? Will they become a couple in the next season? And if they do, will Norman get jealous? Emma is Norman's ex-girlfriend.
