Recently, EA Games teased fans of the upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront" about three additional multiplayer modes to hit the new title. Now, the video game publisher has released more details about the new "Supremacy" multiplayer mode and it seems to bring more excitement and possibilities for the players of the upcoming title.

The new mode will see massive clashes and fights between Heroes and Villains and will see vehicles and ground troops join in the fray.

According to the game's official website, Supremacy will put focus on "five control points" found all over the map of the highly anticipated game and each player will have to take possession of these to advance in the game.

"Gain control of all five, or the majority of them, before the 10 minute round is over," detailed the mode's objective. During the beginning of the game, each team will handle two of the control points and will try to determine who will take possession of the fifth point in the center.

The battle officially starts when the ownership of the fifth control point has been determined and each team will then proceed to take control of all five "in set order."

Given that the game is very intense, many players who prefer to experience a full-on multiplayer mode will enjoy it.

"When you spawn into Supremacy, you don't have to move far to see a lot of friends - and enemies," said Lead level Designer Dennis Brannvall. "You're thrown into a massive frontline, where your screen is filled with adversaries: infantry, Heroes, Walkers and starfighters."

Because of the intense action expected to happen, players will be delighted to know that popular Star Wars vehicles such as the TIE fighters and X-wings will also be seen hovering and taking part in the battle, noted Eurogamer.

Iconic characters such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and even Boba Fett will be in the game and each has its own advantage in attacking and taking control of control points, which players can utilize.

Players that enjoy attacking or defending will definitely have something to look forward to in this multiplayer mode.

Although quite similar to the Conquest mode, Brannvall clarified that the two remain different.

"We've made several tweaks to improve the formula. You will always spawn close to the action when you enter Supremacy, so you'll never feel isolated from the fight," the designer added.

"Star Wars Battlefront" will be available to the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC beginning November 17.
