"Beauty and The Beast" Season 3 just got more exciting as things took a shocking turn when Vincent (Jay Ryan) finally agreed to help Liam (Jason Gedrick) in his mission to keep their beast secret from spilling out.

Last week's episode saw Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent hot on the trail of Liam, who killed Juliana on the day of their wedding. The couple knew that the beast is dangerous and they must stop him at all costs from preventing further damage and deaths.

But as the couple followed Liam's tracks, they stumbled upon information about a certain Patient X and the two decided to check it, hoping that it will lead them to the beast.

Liam was busy planting bombs to kill people injected with the serum to keep the information about beasts a secret. One of his targets was a boy, Russell, who Cat initially thought was Patient X.

When it became clear to Cat that Russell is not supernatural, Vincent came to his aid and saved him from a possible death by explosion.

Russell had different plans, however. He planned on killing Liam before he gets to him. Russell overpowered Cat and took her gun in search of the beast. Liam soon found Russell and was successful in killing him.

However, this week's episode, "Unbreakable," will see Vincent with a change of heart towards Liam. Although not entirely trusting him, he will be left with no choice but to team up with the beast to protect their secret.

According to the synopsis from CarterMatt, "Vincent agrees to help Liam on a mission to retrieve evidence that could expose them both. Meanwhile, a suspicious Cat discovers something about Liam's family history and must warn Vincent before it is too late."

While the couple knew it is important to get rid of Liam, they understand that keeping him alive might be the only chance they have of keeping beasts a secret to the world as there are still people who want to reveal them.

Although Liam's reasons for preventing beasts from being revealed might be valid and will benefit Vincent in the long run, Cat seems to have found information about Liam that points to something else entirely.

Vincent seemed hesitant to help Liam at first because he knew it entails him tapping his inner beast that he might be unable to control, said another report in CarterMatt.

However, he knew that helping Liam might be the only chance he will get for him and Cat to have a normal life.

Meanwhile, this week's episode trailer hinted that part of the reason Vincent was able to control his beast nature is because of his love for Cat. Liam told Vincent that "love can't save him" and it remains to be seen this week if what he said is true, resulting in Vincent returning into a deadly beast.

On the other hand, JT and Tess have finally gotten back together, but it seems that JT is not entirely serum-free yet.

"Beauty and the Beast" Season 3 Episode 11, "Unbreakable," will air on Aug. 20 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
