It's not every day that people get a life-size statue in their honor, but if you're singer Demi Lovato you get one to celebrate turning 23.

On Aug. 17, the pop star attended the unveiling of her wax figure made by Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. Lovato, who turns 23 on Aug. 20, showed off her excitement by taking a few selfies with the statue, reported Popsugar.

The 5-foot-3 statue was dressed in a leather outfit, reminiscent of looks Lovato rocks on stage during her performances or in her music videos, has colorful hair tips, which Lovato had while promoting her Secret Color hair extension collection, and can be seen posing while holding a microphone and revealing the star's wrist tattoos.

Lovato has yet to comment on the wax figure, other than retweeting a post about it on Twitter, but dished about how she plans on celebrating her birthday.

According to E! Online, while at the Samsung's Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 launch event in West Hollywood, the singer revealed she will be spending it with close friends.

"I kind of have been so busy that I'm sort of looking forward to having a solid day off," she said. "I might have a little get together with my closest friends and then maybe at some point, having a dinner. No parties. I'm just wanting to chill."

However, Lovato did reveal that, if she has a party, it won't be until after she finishes work on her next project.

"I have something I have to train for," she explained. "So I don't want to have a birthday party until I could f--king eat birthday cake."

At the event Lovato was also asked about those wedding rumors concerning boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama that have been going around, and the singer was quick to deny them but did tease the possibility.

"I'm literally turning 23 this week," said the singer. "There's no rush. We've been together so long [that] there's no rush."

She did, however, reveal that she already has ideas for a wedding if she was to get married soon, including having singer Ed Sheeran perform at ther reception.

"Every girl does that," said Lovato. "I was planning my wedding when I was like 10!"
