Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui is showing support for fellow pop star Perrie Edwards, a member of Little Mix who recently broke down on stage during an emotional performance.

Edwards, whose engagement with former One Direction member Zayn Malik recently ended, started crying during a performance of the group's song "The End," on Aug. 19 in New York City, reported People.

While her fellow group members were there to support her, the 22-year-old singer also received support from Jauregui.

Jauregui took to Twitter to send a heartfelt message about dealing with a broken heart. Even though Jauregui didn't tag Edwards, the timing couldn't have been more perfect.

Several fans asked the Fifth Harmony singer if the words in her tweet were from original song lyrics and explained that she should co-write Fifth Harmony's songs since they loved the tweet so much. Jauregui responded by teasing that the idea may someday be a possibility.

Both Fifth Harmony and Little Mix recently had the opportunity to perform with Taylor Swift on her 1989 World Tour and both attended the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, where Little Mix performed and Fifth Harmony took home three awards and presented the Candie's Choice Style Icon award to Britney Spears.

While on the red carpet, Jauregui and her fellow Fifth Harmony members revealed what it was like to perform with Swift and put to rest any rumors about a feud with Little Mix, reported ET Online.

"It was just like a beautiful dream," said Ally Brooke about taking the stage with Swift. "Just euphoria. So magical!"

The group dished that Swift learned the group's choreography and wore one of their tour outfits to match the group's stage look.

"She was really welcoming," added Jauregui. "She's really quirky -- a cool girl." Soon after Dinah-Jane Hansen dished that she was excited to see Little Mix perform and the group broke out singing "Black Magic."
