For the past week, most of the Samsung Galaxy S5 reports revolved on the Korean tech potentially offering the upcoming phone in two variations: the plastic and metal models. However, the most recent rumors are suggesting a different angle.

The newest rumor mill is about the S5 leaving the possibility of arriving in full metal jacket entirely and instead sticking to the polycarbonate plans solely, Highlight Press reported. This was supported by another popular analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo predicting powerful features that the new Galaxy phone will have.

It was mentioned in an IBTimes article that the analyst stated in his paper how the Korean tech giant is eager to come up with a new flagship phone that has the fingerprint scanning feature, as a way to keep up with their rivals like Apple. However, his report is contradictory to the other claims that Samsung may come up with the retina or eye scanning technology instead.

Sudden Emergence of Benchmarked Models?

Two models of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S5 recently emerged on the benchmark database of Antutu. The two models named as SM-G900R4 (US) and the SM-G900H (Europe) may be deemed as the newest Samsung smart phone but come in extremely varying specifications. The supposed US edition is packed with the Snapdragon 800 processor, the 32GB internal memory, 13MP camera and 2MP in front, and the 2K display. The other Europe edition will have the 1080p display, the 2GB Ram, the 16GB internal memory and the Exynos 5422 octa core processor, IBT wrote.
